Time it takes Folding server to recognize your team?

Post by LIVESTRONG »

I need to change important information about my team (Email, URL, Password). The team is only about a week old. When I attempt to make the changes it says my team does not exist. When I search for my team it also show that it is non existent. However, if I search for my team NUMBER I can locate my team and all my points. It has been several days where I have been unable to modify my settings. Could this take up to a week or more? Just curious.

I've tried this out too, with bogus login info and yep, the team is not found. Tried it for my own team and it worked fine; tried it with my team and bogus login and got the expected error message; tried it with my team misspelled and got the team not found.
I'm not sure what is wrong; other teams founded just before and after yours are reacting as expected when I test the database.
Can you get mdk777 to try it too?
I'm not sure what's going on, and will PM the responsible Pande Group member.

It shows one WU completed today. I just checked. I know you have done many more, and I did four just to make sure the team was working. Anyway, it is now finally showing on the data base.
PM if you have any problem with the information I gave you.
Good luck with the team. :P

Never mind, I see now that you have changed the home page reference and they also changed the team # 169003
You'll need to change your signature.
Sorry if I slowed the process for you, again good luck. :!:

Yes mdk777, for some reason I decided to try and make LIVESTRONG.ORG team again and it actually worked. Don't worry I was in the setup stage for my rigs so that PPD does not concern me. So now there is my current LIVESTRONG.ORG team # 169003 which is what I will be using for folding from now on.

I was still in the initial stages of setting up my rigs; Vmware/linux SMP for my duo core, overclocking my 260, etc. so now that everything is sorted out I can start focusing on pumping out more PPD for # 169003.

I'm averaging 14,000 PPD at the moment WITHOUT my GTX 275 (that still needs overclocking) an 8800GTS, and my duo core will be clocked from 3GHz to 4Ghz.

This will all happen in about a week when my new power supply arrives. Hopefully I will see my PPD double or more after those changes! :)

Appreciate the help guys.

Hmm, youre getting 14K off that?? You sure? Whats fahmon or fahwatch reporting?

My 260, does UPTO 8000, and maybe 3k on a vmware notfreds

Your ppd might not double. but your heat will...

Not to get down on you or anything, just looking at it realistically.

I should have explained more patonb.

I'm averaging 11-14k with a Notfreds' on a Dual Core 3.0GHz, GTX 260 (overclocked, still playing with settings), and two Pentium 4's; 3.8GHz and 2.2GHz.

My PNY 260 core 216 was doing 9600 last night; today it has stayed around 8500. I will further tweak the clock to see if I can get a stable 9000+.

I might not see double PPD when my new PSU arrives, but I will have a lot more flexibility.

My Dual Core 3.0GHz will be overclocked to 4+GHz, the GTX 275 will return to folding and will be finely overclocked, and hopefully my 8800GTS will be running overclocked as well.

Does your Q6600 only do 3kPPD? That is what my Dual Core is doing.

Youre getting 9600 on a 260?? Whats your clocks at?

I've never heard of a 260 doing that... Also how are you measuring that??

I know you were using the other p4's but its your 260 thats way above normal.

My c2d e2180 only does 800 at stock on winsmp,
Yha a vmware image only does 2 cores unless you use extra variables, that my vmware doesn't have, so my q6600 is only on 2 cores. But My setup doesn't like to smp fold, so i don't run it 24/7, or eve n much anymore.

Just remember, ocing for gaming is alot easier than ocing for folding.

You should d/l marvins eue checker http://www.mtm78.nl/fahwatch/publish.htm and see if yo're eue'ing.

High high oc's don't run well with fah. Man i gotta know your clocks.

PNY 260 core 216 currently clocked at 725/1100, Shader 1545. 70% fan. I got this card only two days ago so I'm still tweaking the clocks.

I was using FaHmon to measure my PPD; is this not accurate?

It is currently running 9531PPD at this moment.

Just picked up FaHWatch, thanks for the link, looks like a solid program.

My cards don't reliably run that high... You might want to check your eue rates.

What temps are you hitting? The units you're running are the prime units, so when you hit the 511ptrs, you'll skyrocket in temp... 7ish+ degrees.

Yha fahmn is a good way to measure the ppd, just double checking.

I'm working on a 511ptr right now and hitting 75-78c, which I find adequate.

Will this FAHwatch alert me if I have an EUE or do I just keep checking the log?

It can, or it can alert you when you hit a certain %.

I usually run it once a week just to watch my units, but always watch my production via EOC Page. But you have to be in top 6000 teams.

75-80s an okay temp, so thats okay for now...
