Thanks johnph77 - we appreciate the report.

BTW, usually one of us mods replies to every post made here, even those marked "purely informational" just to indicate that the post has been read and appropriate action, if any, has been taken.

I also had a Project 3770 WU fail. FYI.

I haven't had any issues with all the 3770's I've done so far. But could you check the points awarded for it? I'm getting from 152.47-163.15 on them while on the 6006 and 6007 wu's I'm getting from 436.36-477.35. Just wondering why the big disparity when they should have both been benchmarked on about the same configuration of computers.

Tks
Rick
I'm folding because Dec 2005 I had radical prostate surgery.
Lost brother to spinal cancer, brother-in-law to prostate cancer.
Several 1st cousins lost and a few who have survived.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking.

P3770 is worth 186 points per WU; Projects 6006 and 6007 are each worth 100 points. How fast they run on your particular computer depends on your hardware so a certain PPD is not assured unless you have exactly the same hardware as the benchmark computer. Then, too, some projects receive a bonus while others do not.

What I'm saying is that both the 3770's and 6006(7)'s should have been beanchmarked on the same kind of computer setup. So if one takes longer to fold then it should be worth more points according to the formula that's used. And because of that they should come out with approximately the same ppd average for us if done on the same computer. I'm folding with a i7 3.0GHz cpu, 12GB DDR3 ram, 3 GeForce 250's, and 8 instances of folding. Computer does nothing but fold 98% of the time.

A 6006 takes just under 4 hours to complete and is worth 100points.
A 3770 takes just over 24 hours to complete and is worth 186points.
Either the 6006 should be worth ~25 points or the 3770's should be worth ~740 points to make the ppd come out correct.

This isn't a complaint, just a statement of fact, I've probably completed 40-50 of the 3770's and have no plans of deleting any 3770's in hopes of catching something else.
