I'm getting nowhere, even with multiple restarts. ?? How are you guys getting your client to talk to a different assignment server?

I'd also like to know how to force it to switch to a different assignment server. I've got 3 (going on 4) GPU clients down.

Here nothing it switched automatically on 4 of 5 of my clients the 353 wu ran and sent back then switched back to the 171.64.65.106 server. I restarted the 5th one.
Luckily the other 4 clients got bigger WU's and have a few minutes + until they re load...

I wonder if power-cycling my router / modem and forcing a new IP locally might then switch me to a different assignment server. Any chance that might work? LOL (*doubtful*)

When i do that it says "invalid parameter" and tells me to leave it blank.

EDIT: running GPU in case that makes a difference...

Start the client with -configonly flag and then when you are prompted for advance settings say yes then when you see set advancemethods answer yes.

Did anybody bother to read my post "Do this first" which is stickied to the top of this forum? If you checked serverstat, it's pretty obvious that several servers, including this one is severely overloaded. I have no information about a cause, but the Pande Group pays pretty close attention to severstat. There's a good chance that they'll resolve it soon (depending, of course, on what's actually wrong.)
