Re: Way to exclude processes from a process monitor?

OK, I'm not sure how the arguments got like that in the log file! This is exactly what I've got in the ImagePath in the registry: C:\Folding@Home Windows SMP Client V1.01 - 2\Folding@home-Win32-x86.exe -svcstart -d "C:\Folding@Home Windows SMP Client V1.01 - 2" Like you said, I tried putti...

Re: Way to exclude processes from a process monitor?

I can tell you that running W2008 Server and creating virtual machines using Hyper-V that the CPU usage of the virtual machines do not appear in task manager of the host machine at all (either performance or process tabs) regardless of user. If you need it the reliability and performance monitor do...

Re: Way to exclude processes from a process monitor?

I've tried one more thing - I figured that the Task Manager may still show processes that were run by the user "Administrator", even when the Show Processes from all users" checkbox is unchecked, so I created a new local admin user on my machine, logged in under that name, ran install...

Re: Way to exclude processes from a process monitor?

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I've just gotten around to trying P5-133XL's suggestion! Unfortunately, I can't see a way of doing this! Since I'm using Server 2003, I can't "suspend" the current user and login as someone else - so as soon as I login as the local administrator, run the ...

Re: Way to exclude processes from a process monitor?

Ah, that's a good idea! I'll give that a go.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I'm actually running an Nvidia 8600GT!

Way to exclude processes from a process monitor?

Hi guys, I'm currently running the SMP and GPU2 client at work, but have to run the SMP client out of hours because I need to be able to monitor my CPU usage. Just wondering, is there a process monitor (preferably that has a CPU usage icon in the taskbar) that would enable me to disable the F@H SMP ...
