No you can't select the WU you'll get. But you can indicate your preference : Small WU, Normal WU, Big WU with the possibility to request more experimental WU (-advmethods flag). The memory reported by your client and the CPU detection will also help to find the WU that fits better to your machine....

This happened to me too.I used the -delete x parameter on FAH.exe and after this I managed to take a new project that runs with no problems.
