Re: How many points have been awarded in total?

I find it interesting that according to EOC's page there are only around 27,000 active folders. Or am I reading that wrong?
  • Aggregate User Info
    New 837 (+389 )
    Active 27,300 (+680 )
    Inactive 872,739
    Total 900,039

EOC shows 900k users in total, on the other hand the FAH stats show 2.9M total users

Re: P17106 finished in 10m flat (personal record)

Wait - Do I have to manually download new core versions? Just checked and still running on 0.0.13

EDIT: Nevermind. Just read it's still a BETA thing

Re: Motherboard with 3 Slot spacing

Finally after one week of testing or so here are my results: Neither of my GPUs are showing any loss in performance. Even if the cpu only has 16 pcie lanes, and i have also installed a wlan pcie card on a x4 slot. Just like before PPD is around 200,000-270,000 per gpu. Seems like it is even showing ...

Re: Motherboard with 3 Slot spacing

Just make sure you have a PCIE 3.0 or 4.0 compatible CPU, with similar specs for the motherboard. That is not the plan I'm currenctly going by. My i5-2320 is only PCIe 2.0 capable, just like the Mobo - which is PCIe 2.0 x16 and PCIe 2.0 x4. That is why I will test if it impacts performance at all w...

Re: Motherboard with 3 Slot spacing

I think I've settled with the idea to get a new motherboard. I found an ASRock Z77 Pro4 for little money on eBay. It's second PCIe x16 is only x4 capable, but I'm willing to test it out.
Thank you for your kind suggestions

Re: Motherboard with 3 Slot spacing

i5-2320 (Sandy-bridge) only has 16 PCIe 2.0 lanes at its disposal so even a motherboard with x8/x8 slots may not get fully used. I've been reading conflicting threads where the PCIe lane capacity when computing is discussed. I personally haven't seen any impact in performance for my 380s lately (ex...

How did you fix it in place? (If even you mounted it at all)

Re: Motherboard with 3 Slot spacing

My AM2+ board is the ASRock A790GHX/128M and its cased in some oooold MCtronics OEM case, which I'm pretty sure has no name. I do have an ASRock ALiveXFire-eSATA2 lying around, too. (The LGA 1155 board doesn't even have 2 16x PCIe slots) I didn't know a riser cable is THAT flexible; I heard it break...

Re: Motherboard with 3 Slot spacing

Instead of that, just get a PCIE x16 riser cable like below, so you can move one of the GPUs away from the other: I was already thinking about that, but I don't want to use one, because I want to put the whole thing in one case. Water cooling is also out of the question, as there are no longer any ...

Motherboard with 3 Slot spacing

Hey there! So, I happen to have 2 computers with each a Radeon R9 380 folding. To improve efficiency and perhaps lower my electricity bill, I want to combine these two systems. Therefore I am searching for a motherboard (either a LGA 1155 for my i5-2320 or a PGA AM2+/AM3 for a Phenom 965) with 3 slo...

Re: Quadro 4000

A few months ago I had three of these running for FAH. All of them were recognised as Mac Edition, even though they obviously weren't. The cards support OpenCL 1.1+ (as far as I know), which used to work for FAH last summer. For each of these cards I got 15000 PPD - even with Passkey. On average the...

Re: Can the PC shut down after FAH client is finished?

This is how I do it: Open "run" by pressing "Windows key" + "R" Type -shutdown -s -t amountofseconds (example:" shutdown -s -t 5400 ") --> your PC will shutdown automatically after 90 minutes Of course for this method you will need to know how long your workun...
