Re: No appropriate work server was available
Thank you everyone. This machine is folding again.
Of course I've lost 8% of one typical WU's folding time that I'll never get back again. Oh how the children weep.

No appropriate work server was available [Resolved]
An hour and a half and still no work unit. If I hadn't been here to see I wouldn't care, but I was and do.
I'm running Folding@home-Win32-x86.exe Has it been updated again like last time this happened?

Re: -Successful: assigned to (0.0.0.0)
Thank you for responding 7im. The log below is the same as every other log that other people have posted when faced with this same problem in the past. I'm really just pointing out that the assignment server isn't. As for point allocation. First, I had no idea that a PS3 was powerful enough to model...

-Successful: assigned to (0.0.0.0)
For the last three days at least 8 hours a day this machine has spend spinning its wheels trying to get something other than "Work Unit has an invalid address." Right now these CPUs have done no folding for 12 hours. Are we done? Should I go look for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence now? And...

Re: 128.59.74.4 in Reject
I estimate as little as six more days before the buffer is overwritten. I know science isn't as important as me getting my points, or perhaps its the other way around. Either way the FAH console does set a time limit.

How broken can a PS3 be and still fold?
A first order broken PS3 on eBay typically has a bad laser disk drive. Would this still fold? How little of the unit is needed? What else can you get away with not having and still fold. I have it in mind to replace the electric heater this winter. I vehemently do not want a game box in this house. ...

Missing WU
My log file shows a successful upload on 21 Jul 08. My folding at home user page shows the last WU sent up was on the 19th. Also, while accessing my user page, the system returned an error message I've not seen before. It instructed me to inform the administrator. Did the work unit get there? Isn't ...
