Re: Can't find client download.
I don't run PeerBlock, or any network related software at all apart from my browser and Windows Defender/Firewall. Even so that wouldn't explain why I can't accesss stanford.edu on any devices, even the PS3.

Re: Can't find client download.
So you're saying that ping with the site-name goes through but you can't open in in your browser. That's some kind of browser security issue. Since the FAH client seems to have the same issue, it's probably a firewall issue. Temporarily disable your security suite and confirm you can open the stanf...

Re: Can't find client download.
I live in New Zealand, ISP's don't filter internet here, so I don't know. I have no trouble accesssing any other site on the internet except Stanford. No DNS settings are configured, and I havn't changed them in years and I have been able to access the site before. I guess I'll give the ISP a call a...

Re: Can't find client download.
I get a Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. No page from Stanford loads, the entire domain in inaccessible for me. Tracert returns "Unable to resolve target system name" for all Stanford URL's.

Can't find client download.
For months now the Stanford site has been down for me for some reason, so I am unable to download the Nvidia GPU3 client. Could someone please upload it to a mirror as I have been trying to download it for weeks.

Re: Machine ID's
If you choose to run more than one client on a single machine , then you would need to make sure that those clients have different MachineIDs. Because in that case the UserID is the same as its the same computer, gotcha. So since I'm already using 1, 2 and 3, I could just set each PC to 4 when it a...

Re: Machine ID's
Sorry guys, I still don't fully understand. So you're saying each of the 32 machines don't need a unique machine ID? I plan on installing each client by hand. If what I gather from these posts, they can all have the same machine ID??? Also, school runs a fairly locked down domain login system (each ...

Machine ID's
A forum search shed some light on this but I'm still out in the open. I'm planning on asking my school if it is at all possible to run F@H SMP on the L1 computer lab PC's (32x 1.8GHz Pentium Dual Cores). Since the client only allows up to 16 Machine IDs, and I'm already running 3 at my home, how do ...
