Re: Project: 1736 (Run 0, Clone 19, Gen 0)
Yeah, it's a little odd. The 1737's (prior to crashing) were running at about 4 minutes/frame. The 1736's, although exactly the same point value (57), run at over 11 minutes/frame.

Re: WU 1737 - unstable?
Do you know the steps required to set my machine to not restart after a BSOD? I'd like to be able to catch those messages when they appear. And to be honest, I really don't need a "realistic impression" of how often my machine has BSOD's. It almost never does...until just recently (with th...

Re: WU 1737 - unstable?
I only witnessed one crash (although there were a number of them). When I saw it go, the computer became unresponsive, then black screen, followed by a very quick BSOD and the system restarted.

Re: WU 1737 - unstable?
Well, back to my original post, I'm not using the SMP client. Only single 6.10beta3 clients on 3 cores (with separate machine ID's), and the GPU2 client (also with a unique machine ID), which leaves one core to feed the GPU.

Re: WU 1737 - unstable?
Well, the improper shutdowns are the crashes.
I ran the Gromacs stress test for 14 hours today, and not even a hint of a problem. So again, it does not look like my system is the slightest bit unstable.
Any other ideas?

Project: 1736 (Run 0, Clone 19, Gen 0)
One of my machines is working on this one right now. Anyone have any idea about the points for this WU?? I can't find info on it. I see 1738's and 1739's are worth 57 points. I hope 1736's are not worth the same -- it's currently taking 11+ minutes per frame. And 4590's and 4591's, at about 5-6 minu...

I just realized that I posted this in the wrong category. Hopefully a Moderator will move this to the correct one.

Re: WU 1737 - unstable?
Here's one of the 1737 logs (from the point where it begins to work on the 1737) - the other one looks basically the same. You'll see an intentional shutdown or two, but the abrupt stops are the crashes. Also, yes, the 9450 is OC'd. BUT, I can tell you that it will run the Prime95 blend stress test ...

WU 1737 - unstable?
Hi all, My machine is an Intel Quad 9450 with an ATI HD3870, running Vista Ultimate 32-bit. I've been folding away for the last month and half with almost no problems. I found I get a higher PPD using the GPU2 client on the 3870, and the 6.10beta3 console on 3 cores(leaving one available for the GPU...
