Re: Connecting...Inactive
Good Afternoon All, I did a "last" within terminal and saw that it was possible that I had not restarted after the client failed originally. MacOS 11.4 was installed 6/14/2021 at 11:15 am ET according to System Information (option apple menu, installation 'tab'), using terminal (using the ...

Connecting...Inactive
Running M1 MacBook Air with MacOS 11.4; Client has been productive until Jun 14. Several restarts of both the machine and the client have not resolved the issue. No changes in internet, connectivity otherwise uninterrupted. Possible that the Jun 14 date coincided with my upgrade to MacOS 11.4, but I...

Re: Are 32-bit linux clients still available?
Joe_H, thank you so much for your response. Is there anyway that I could get in touch with the developers or otherwise relay this experience to them so that they have this specific issue on their list of actionable items?

Re: Are 32-bit linux clients still available?
Thank you Bruce and JimboPalmer! Who should be contacted to update the verbiage on the FAH site to revise the verbiage I referenced:
https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/i ... uirements/
If linux 32-bit clients are no longer available, this should be stated with clarity and consistency.

Re: Are 32-bit linux clients still available?
Below is the verbiage on the Linux Requirements for FAH that I was working with. My machine meets these base requirements, but I have not yet located a FAHclient that matches them. If the FAHclient no longer runs on 32-bit Linux machines, perhaps the requirement verbiage should be revised? I have ap...

Re: Are 32-bit linux clients still available?
Thank you for the responses! I think perhaps I should rephrase the question for the sake of clarity. The alternative downloads section appears to show only a 64-bit version of the ubuntu FAHclient. Will this FAHclient run on my 32-bit, intel dual core laptop running Ubuntu? If not, would using an ol...

Are 32-bit linux clients still available?
The FAH system requirement verbiage suggests that 32-bit systems running Ubuntu are supported; however, the alternative downloads page appears to show only amd64 versions of the client (there is one file for download that includes 'all' in the name but it seems to be for the FAHcontrol rather than t...

Re: Work units stall at 99.99% Windows Vista 7.6.13 cx_freez
Thank you once again for the many helpful suggestions. I assume that when working with a linux USB book disk that most of the current harddisk would be largely invisible or unavailable, so I would need the Linux OS a browser, internet connectivity drivers, the FAH client, and some space for the logs...

Re: Work units stall at 99.99% Windows Vista 7.6.13 cx_freez
Under the heading of wanting to do something with this old machine while working through a full migration to Linux, will running the FAH client from a linux USB boot disk technically work? I have no doubt that it would be very poor from a performance stand point, but would it work technically?

Re: Work units stall at 99.99% Windows Vista 7.6.13 cx_freez
Thank you all for your responses. I appreciate that moving this box to Linux may be the best option. I have data on this PC that I would like to preserve if possible. My understanding is that I would need to wipe it completely before I could migrate to Linux. If this is not true, please let me know ...

Work units stall at 99.99% Windows Vista 7.6.13 cx_freeze
I am running v7.6.13 on a Windows Vista box. The Advanced Control produces a 'cx_freeze error' on every launch attempt. The web control appears to be working (shows progress after I click the connect directly link) but it will frequently stop at 99.99%. Some completed work units are being delivered ...

Re: "Bad Gateway", "404", blank team member list
Good Evening Uyaem! Thank you for your response! It has been several days running at this point (post-change) and I have not once seen my name change reflected in any comforting way. At what point should I suspect that some kind of user or other error? If so, what would be the most likely user error...

"Bad Gateway", "404", blank team member list
Good Morning All! I performed a donor name change after working 3 units and whenever I attempt to lookup the new name by clicking on the hyperlink within the FAHControl I get an error. During the last few days it was a "404" not found, today it is a "Bad Gateway" message. Additio...
