Re: Server 128.252.203.10 Exception: 10002: Received short r
Hummm interesting behavior. I recently changed from Norton LifeLock do Kaspersky, exactly when I started seeing this. But there is a big but... I also use a VPN (NordVPN) with killswitch on (and other configurations to enforce it). I've noticed that while connected to a vpn server in Switzerland, WU...

Re: Windows 10 + rtx2060 with 460.79 = dumped slot
I just did a full reinstall of f@h. Full remove and install. Worked like a charm. All three slots detected and working.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Re: Windows 10 + rtx2060 with 460.79 = dumped slot
No dice. clean install, driver from nvidia site. Still no slot for the nvidia. Strange thing: the logs show nvidia/cuda detected, but it seems the be on the same bus/slot than the Intel integrated graphics... is it normal? Why F@h is able to see there is a nvidia/cuda capable graphics but won't add ...

Re: Windows 10 + rtx2060 with 460.79 = dumped slot
Thanks for the quick reply.
Since I installed f@h 7.6.21 weeks ago, it started detecting the CPU, the nvidia GPU and the Intel GPU (but this last one disabled). And it was working until last night (460.79 install).
Will do a nvidia clean reinstall.
Thank you!

Lenovo Notebook Y540-15IRH Intel Core i7-9750H + nVidia RTX2060 Windows 10 x64 20H2 19042.662 Hi there, Last night I was prompted for a new nvidia driver version (through the geforce experience app) and did the upgrade (to 460.79), shut it down and went to sleep. Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v7
Hi RMCholewa - This error you've shared is actually a failure to read the remote xml file that contains the update information for HFM. What's strange here is that you appear to be getting an html document, not an xml document. Will you go to this link and see what you receive? This should prompt y...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7
RMCholewa - Open the HFM.log file (see the Help menu) and look for entries with the reblouise or starbuck names please. A connection failure should generate some information in the log that will be helpful in diagnosing the problem. Hi there, reblouise and starbuck properly set in the F@H Client. W...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7
Forget HFM for a moment. Can localhost see the two remote hosts in FAH Advanced Control? Have you added them there first? (It's not necessary for HFM to work but if FAH can't see the remote hosts then HFM won't either.) Yes, the F@H control can see all three machines (localhost and the other two on...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7
Tried 7.6.13, same error while adding the client. Please try the new 0.9.17 release... post to follow here. Hi there! Here are the findings. Windows 10 190318. F@H Client 7.6.13. HFM 0.9.17. I added the localhost and it is working. Added two remote hosts (local network) and, although they test ok, ...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7
@ RMCholewa One of the requirements of the newer HFM.net software is .NET Framework v4.7. Do you have that or a later version installed? That log seems to indicate you have an older version but I may be misreading it. FYI I'm using FAHClient v7.6.13 and HFM.net v9.16.1037 and they're both working w...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7
Sorry... :D It was configured to open a specific config file with the PCs here at home. When it starts, it crashes without any messages. Then I deleted the config file and the app loaded. When I tried to add the first client, it crashed again. The problem started after I upgraded from 7.5.2 to 7.6.9.
