Re: Actual credit?
OK, I see how it works now. My Anti-Virus (Spectrum or F-secure) was blocking the results from the website from the link that was provided, so I was only getting an error. Now that I have that fixed, I am getting the numbers that I want. I do have a suggestion. Could you print out the project, run, ...

Re: Actual credit?
I was not clear enough. I want to know the credit that I received for a particular job my computer ran. I know that depends on how long the job took. With the v7 client, the log for the run would tell you how much credit you received when it uploaded. The v8 client just says credited.

Actual credit?
I just started using v8 and I like the new client. However, I can't find how much credit was awarded for a completed job. I can find the base credit, but not the final result. The log file just says credited. How can you find out how much credit a completed WU gave you? I apologize if this is answer...

Time to update the website news?
The last entry for the website news tab is over a year old. I think it is time to update with some new news. I am sure there is something that can be discussed.

Re: Has this been tested on simple web browsers
I am using epiphany currently on Raspberry Pi now. It supports the v7 client just fine (include not having a secure connection). It must support some form of Javascript--I just don't know what version. Which is why I asked if it was tested.

Has this been tested on simple web browsers
Has this been tested on simple web browser like epiphany?
https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Web
I was just wondering if the new client relied on advanced browser functionality or if it would work with a simple one.
Epiphany works much better on a machine like a Raspberry Pi.

Has support for ARM64 been dropped?
The download page no longer has an item for ARM64. Has FAH stopped supporting ARM64?

Raspberry Pi 400, Raspberry Pi 64-bit OS, and FAHClient
The official Raspberry Pi 64-bit OS (not beta) came out recently. I thought I would try the folding at home client on my Raspberry Pi 400 and give my notes on the subject. So I did a fresh OS install and installed the FAHClient. The official OS is easiest to install via the Raspberry Pi Imager (foun...

Re: Stalled work units with 21.1.1
Update:
This error continued to happen, so I went back to 20.11.2 drivers. I have not seen a problem since then.
I do not recommend anything, but you can draw you own conclusions.

Stalled work units with 21.1.1
I downloaded the "newest" AMD driver a couple of days ago. The version is 21.1.1
Since that time, I have had a number of stalled work units. I was just wondering if anyone else was seeing this.
I have an RX 570 on Windows 10.

Re: Question about how CPU work units are assigned
I appreciate all the comments. Things have been going better recently. I don't have to wait for WUs. The a8 jobs I get seem to want to reduce the number of threads, but these jobs are so short it really does not matter. I was mostly curious if assignment would be more regular if I went to two slots ...

Question about how CPU work units are assigned
I run my computer with one slot of 16 threads. It seemed to work fine for quite some time. However, over the last couple of days, I frequently get "No WUs available for this configuration" for hours at a time. When I do get an assignment, the server will usually drop the number of threads ...

Re: Something a little unusual?
Only running FAH. GPU loads do not change if I run CPU slot or not, so I don't think GPU is affecting the CPU that I allocate to the CPU, and I always leave some some idle available (at least 10%). Over the last couple of days, I can definitely see the difference between a7 and a8 even though the FA...

Re: Something a little unusual?
Except that System Idle Process is using what is left over, so there is plenty of unused resources. For some reason, these work units simply do not stress the system. That is OK. I just never have seen it before. Maybe these work units hit memory more frequently, and leave the CPU idle during that t...
