Re: Re: New AS testing
Thanks - it's a holiday weekend here, so if we're still running dry come Tuesday, I'll look into upgrading the clients.

Re: New AS testing
Just wanted to ask if someone would kindly make an announcement when SMP projects are available again. No point keeping the machines going doing nothing, so I've shut them all down.

Ah yes, the ol' PG infallibility argument. Makes me giggle every time!7im wrote:The fact that PG has released this fahcore to the public is all the confirmation we should need.

Re: Discussion: what is holding F@h back?
Not that much anecdotal evidence is required to pursue this, but I would like to offer by way of an example that a screensaver GPU client would likely get my wife to run FAH. And that's saying quite a bit considering how much she resents you guys for monopolizing my time.

Re: PG announcement about Big Advanced Projects
Realistically, though, shouldn't it be about performance rather than about cores... [snip] Overall a smart idea and in-line with existing scenarios. For example, a 2C/4T Atom is technically eligible for SMP but would never manage to meet any deadlines, hence people have learned not to fold SMP with...

Re: Project 5801 issues.
Mods - please post notice of when the 5801's have been pulled. All my cores have been shut down by either EUE limit or unstable machine errors, so I'll have to restart them all manually once the coast is clear. You may try to restart now. I've got 5506 on all mine now, but the 5801's may still come...

Project: 2662 (R1, C223, G0) - Unable to Send
Finished this WU a couple of days ago, but have been unable to send the results. I am getting a mix of "could not connect to work server" errors and "server does not have record of this unit" errors. What should I do? --- Opening Log file [July 22 02:21:43] # SMP Client #########...

Re: 52xx GPU WU
So far, my 8800GTS G92 has been given 5206, 5208, 5209, 5210, 5211 & 5212. Of those, 5208, 5209 and 5212 resulted in EUEs, but the rest were completed successfully. Although, it appears that my card struggles with them a bit compared to the 50xx series of WUs, because it chews through them at a ...
