Running a GPU WU on a Mac Studio
My apologies in advance if this is a stupid question, but is it possible to run an FAH slot using the GPU on a Mac Studio? I have tried to add a slot for a GPU, and although the client allows me to do so, it never executes a WU. My Mac Studio has an M1 Max SoC, with a 32-core GPU, but, obviously, no...

Re-link client to Safari browser tab
I am running Folding@Home on a Mac Studio computer that I got in June. I recently "lost" my Safari browser session that included a tab that was 'linked' to my FAH client. (meaning I could see the status of the ongoing work units via the browser tab). In my new browser session, I cannot fin...

Re: Unable to run GPU workunits
ajm, Thank you for your reply. The version of the NVIDIA display adapter currently installed is the same as it was in December 2019, when I was still able to run GPU workunits, so I do not believe that a driver update has "broken" the ability for my client to run GPU workunits. Also, I hav...

Unable to run GPU workunits
For the past several months, I have been unable to run any workunits for my GPU (I AM able to run CPU workunits). Prior to this, I did not h ave any issues. I am currently running the latest Windows client (7.6.13). My OS version is Windows 10 Pro, version 1909. My computer is a Microsoft SurfaceBoo...

Re: Viewer not displaying current work unit
Joe,
That's a bummer. My recollections are that this used to work many years ago on Windows (I've never owned a Mac or Linux computer), but I have no feel for when it might have stopped.
Thank you for your quick reply.
Best regards,
Mike

Viewer not displaying current work unit
For some time now, the Viewer does not display the current work unit that my computer is processing. When I select "Viewer" from the Advanced Control Client, the same generic molecule is always displayed. The fields for 'Current Work Unit' (Project/FahCore/Progress/Time Left) are unpopulat...
