Re: ERROR:WU01:FS01:Exception: Failed reading core package h
I just got exactly the same error while trying to setup a new linux folding machine: *********************** Log Started 2021-09-03T14:37:43Z *********************** 14:37:43:************************* Folding@home Client ************************* 14:37:43: Website: http://folding.stanford.edu/ 14:37...

Re: Missing credit server 129.32.209.201
Hi, I would just like to mention that some credits are still missing. It's nearly four months later, so I don't know whether the data has not already been deleted. These are my 64 PRCGs: project:16927 run:6 clone:583 gen:1 uploaded on 2020-12-17 19:26:59 UTC project:16927 run:18 clone:355 gen:12 upl...

Re: Statistic wrong
This is a known problem since 2021-03-08, something got stuck when they entered a large batch of uncredited work units into the stats system and it hasn't been fixed until today (probably low priority). Hopefully it gets resolved at some point, but it may take weeks.

Re: F@H efficiency limit
Keep in mind that you need to return the assigned WU before timeout (not expiration) or slighly after to be useful. If the WU is not returned after timeout, it will be reassigned to another system to be completed. If you return your WU first, it will be used to generate the next gen WU. If the other...

Project 16815 timeout 0 days
Hello everyone, some weeks ago I noticed an issue with the timeout of project 16815 being very short, but now they have gone too far as now it shows 0 days on psummary . This doesn't make any sense and it causes rapid reassignments of the WUs in progress . I think there should be a lower limit to pr...

Re: Thoughts on optimizing the assignment process
I just wonder if there is any announcement of the minimum system requirements for CPU folding? In the last years I always thought FAH is targeted to make use of (nearly) any hardware you already have and does not require the latest and greatest high end Threadripper, so I was confident that running ...

Re: WU Shortages
It looks like they brought additional CPU jobs and even servers online since 2021-03-20 (vav18 /129.32.209.201 was down before) and I didn't have any idle slots since saturday, so the issue is fixed for me. I just noticed that 66.170.111.50 is getting low on disk space (only 102GB left), so hopefull...

Re: WU Shortages
206.223.170.146 only has OpenMM jobs for GPU folding using Core_22 That's not true - 206.223.170.146 also has P17231 A7 jobs (see the Project List ) - I think it's a bug on the server stats page. All of my CPU Slots are currently loaded with these jobs, but there are too few of them - it takes seve...

Re: WU Shortages
Is there another CPU WU shortage at the moment? For the last 36 hours my cpu:4 folding slots take 1-6 hrs between WUs to get the next assignment. It seems that I'm mostly getting P17231 from WS 206.223.170.146, which has 0 public jobs most of the time according to the server stats . I wonder why I'm...

Re: Missing credit server 129.32.209.201
Hi, i've also noticed some problems about missing credits from project 16927 WUs in December 2020, but new WUs after 2021-01-01 were credited, so the connection to the stats server has been fixed (old WUs are still missing). I got some more uncredited WUs on 2020-01-09 and 2020-01-12, so i assume th...

Re: Missing credit server 128.252.203.11
BTW, it would be great if we could have some PRCGs as reference as it does help out in tracking down what/where the issues lies and then to fix it. Sure, here are some: project:16459 run:194 clone:3 gen:94 uploaded on 2021-01-01 03:03 UTC project:16461 run:48 clone:2 gen:83 uploaded on 2021-01-03 0...

Re: Missing credit server 128.252.203.11
Hi, i also finished several WUs from this server without getting credits, first noted on project:16459 run:40 clone:3 gen:68 (completed on 2020-01-04 16:02:43). Going backwards on the 'gen' number using the WU app i noticed that the last WU from my run which has been credited was gen 55 , credited o...

Re: Security Certificate for foldingforum.org
Latest I have heard was that a new certificate was obtained, they are looking into why it is not being used. I don't think they have already obtained a new certificate, because there is no new certificate logged in the Certificate Transparency logs . Each SSL Certificate must be logged in at least ...
