Re: ***CUDA: Not detected*** RTX™ 5080 16G SHADOW 3X OC
When I was trying to actively copy the log in v8 I thought you could copy directly from the log screen like v7.. What a nightmare of disappointment. Scrolling along and realizing the highlight disappeared when it was no longer in sight! Never occurred to go looking for the actual file.. Might screw ...

Re: ***CUDA: Not detected*** RTX™ 5080 16G SHADOW 3X OC
Yes, nothing will be fixed specifically for V7, unless someone finds a workaround I know nothing ....but I feel more comfortable with the response and details available in the v7 If you make a change, in hardware settings, you can possibly see a reaction how it affects production. v8 doesn't show t...

Re: ***CUDA: Not detected*** RTX™ 5080 16G SHADOW 3X OC
v7 has issues with 5000 series nvidia GPUs, you are not the only one. v7 is no longer supported, too . client version has no impact in performance ;) Says WHO? Not according to this guy... No, date. There is no plans to disable it, yet. So you are safe. It might lose some functionality, when server...

Re: ***CUDA: Not detected*** RTX™ 5080 16G SHADOW 3X OC
You can easily copy fahlogs. just head to logs folder and open any log you want, in txt format. Not from within the v8 browser window...lol So your saying that I need to search for the folders they would be kept in? On v8.5.5? I know how easy they are to copy in v7 Advanced Control/log...highlight/...

***CUDA: Not detected*** RTX™ 5080 16G SHADOW 3X OC
Hi As the title says I cannot get my new 5080 to work with v7 I did get it to work with v8.5.5 with somewhat disappointing performance. I wasn't sure exactly what my options were so I started a post over here https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?t=43516 I wasn't sure if FAH Forum was still support...

Re: Client v8.4.9 : Can you delete old work units from history?
I was coming back to delete my post.
The wu's had stopped being recorded in history so I closed the browser opened back up and all the history came back...
Yeah!

Re: Client v8.4.9 : Can you delete old work units from history?

I refreshed the page and it deleted all the Recent WU's history for the computer...oops :eo Well the average is much higher now ... I should point out it is C...

An easy way to retrieve your fah passkey... Open the Web Control Click on "Change Identity" under your name and team number. put your cursor in the passkey location and all the dots (hiding your passkey) Now use "CTRL a" to highlight all the passkey and "CTRL c" to copy...

Re: problem with 158.130.118.25 fah server
That sounds like quite an impressive network and a great setup. The server outage in the linked post above started on June 18th ~3P EST. As far as I can tell it was an immediate and total shutdown on the networking side. I haven't heard yet what led to the failure. It actually took down our local c...

Re: problem with 158.130.118.25 fah server
Thank you for the responses and understanding. Near as I can figure out, the problem I had was a new, much faster, router. It had the Telnet "disabled" suggesting I use SSH. After I enabled it, the problems seemed to have disappeared. The problem did not immediately start when the new Asus...

Re: problem with 158.130.118.25 fah server
Update Please accept my apology for deleting finished wu's and for accusing a FAH server of wrong doing. This morning I was having the same problem with a different server. I believe I have found the issue within my own network. I am sorry and I will try and do better. I had a number of things that ...

After 30 tries I guess deleting the work folder is probably the best solution...
