Re: Overclocking a GTX1070
Have a pair of EVGA 1070 FTW cards folding in linux, caseless, with settings +25 GPU, -200 memory, 80% fan and power limit 130. This! The recent generation of cards ship with pretty optimal voltage / frequency curves and boost as high as power and thermals allow. If you want increased efficiency, t...

Overclocking a GTX1070
Hey guys,
It has been a while since I didnt use FAH. I was wondering if you could help me on the subject of overclocking.
Is memory or core clock more important ?
Should I lower my power limit, what is the best ratio between power limit(consumption) and PPD ?
Thanks a lot
Happy folding !

Re: Q6600 vs FirePro w2100
Do you have any idea where I could find the maximum temperature of my GPU : AMD FirePro W2100, I can't find it... 85°C should be max safe temperature and at 95°C it should shutdown itself. http://safetemp.blogspot.de/2016/08/amd ... -temp.html Sorry i didn't saw your post, thanks it is smart of you...

Re: Q6600 vs FirePro w2100
I already have the software but that doesn't tell me at which point my temperature is dangerous.
Thanks for the info.

Re: Q6600 vs FirePro w2100

Re: Q6600 vs FirePro w2100
Well that's great ! It works perfectly, most of my work uses the CPU (except gaming) so putting the GPU at full on F@H is not a problem at all

Re: Q6600 vs FirePro w2100
Why on earth can I play League of Legends while folding at 100% on CPU and GPU ? Does my game has a higher priority so F@H kind of put it self on pause ?

Re: Q6600 vs FirePro w2100
I really enjoy all those things thanks a lot ! Actually when I start a project I leave my PC on and I will shut it off when it's finished. It is also equivalent to a GT 730 I think. Well the last project I've done had a PPD of 8000 and now it's at 13600 but I think that's because a loger project, th...

Re: Q6600 vs FirePro w2100
So actually it's my fault I'm just not patient enough. At the beginning it was a 2500 and now it's at 8700 so that's all good thanks. But I think I was clear only my GPU is working only the amd w2100. What about the codes what are they ? I can see FahCore is 0x21 right now. Oh and I have a TPF of 43...

Re: Q6600 vs FirePro w2100
I have one fan in take that is also used for the CPU and one exhaust for the PSU and the one on the GPU. My system is clean and without dust. I think 105W for the CPU (not overclocked) is quite a bit knowing that the GPU can do as much and maybe more work. And I like having a pretty silent PC becaus...

Re: Q6600 vs FirePro w2100
I did this since a while yes, I mean driver, slots, passkey. But I run it only on my GPU because when I use the CPU to fold it gets to loud... Still without the noise in question, which of the two will be more powerful for F@H ? Thanks for your advice ! Power consumption : Q6600: 105 W W2100: 26 W I...

Q6600 vs FirePro w2100
Hi there, I have been folding seen a while but only on some cheap computer. That's not a problem I know. I didn't touch any of the configuration but I'm really curious about which one is the best ? CPU or GPU when you ( I ) have a crappy gpu. Mine is a AMD FirePro W2100 : gpuz link : https://www.tec...
