Re: Collection Servers Down? 171.67.108.25; 171.67.108.24
It seems as though my NotFred clients, with VMware Player configured in Bridge Mode, would allow all LAN PC to see all VM on the network, and would allow all VM to download work units, but none of my VM could upload completed work units! As soon as I switched back to NAT, my VM could upload previous...

FAHmon and project 2671
I am running FAHmon 2.3.99.1 on one of my desktop PC, and whenever that PC receives a p2671, it cannot determine the core, or the WU credit, or any vital stats. FAHspy on the same machine is able to ascertain all the vital stats. The FAHmon WU database is up-to-date, so what could it be that is maki...

Re: How to install optimal on multicore machine?
jrweiss: If you refer to other posts, it has been mentioned before that people have omitted the parameter. So, I didn't want to *assume* anything; it has happened time-and-time again that people have failed to enter that parameter. When he mentioned quad-core CPU and 25% usage, the ¼ usage automatic...

Re: How to install optimal on multicore machine?
I didn't see anyone mention running the .exe with the -smp command line parameter? That was my first thought before I even read the remainder of the thread.

Just copy the F@H shortcut from the F@H program folder, into the startup folder, under the Start -> Programs Menu.

Re: [GPGPU] how to increase speed?
Pain : My new PSU is a 500-watt from FutureShop. They were sold out of 700-watt at FS and BestBuy. The brand is "DYNEX" and I overpaid for it (you can look on their site) but I had bought card without knowing the PSU needed more "juice" and it was a late evening purchase and did...

Consolidation of WU from one user, but multiple usernames?
I have a user on my *very* small "team" (only 4 of us are active) who has submitted completed WU under 3 different usernames. Would there be any way to have her submissions consolidated under one (her current) username, and have the other names deleted from the team 128767 listings? Team N...

Re: Fahmon Hung issue
PeterA: Why not just close FahMon [2.3.2b] most of the time, and keep it open only when you are at your computer? You can avoid the "first of the month" crash.

LGringo: I forgot to answer your one question; yes, the stock PSU by LiteOn did indeed specify 300 watts on the label(s).

Re: [GPGPU] how to increase speed?
Actually, experience in two hours of running 1 × SMP + 1 × GPU, results in 4800 PPD (prorated, of course). If one were going strictly for points on my setup, it would seem more advtangeous to run the GPU alone. I want to help the science as well as get points, so I will continue to run 1 × SMP + 1 ×...

Re: [GPGPU] how to increase speed?
I had a whale of a time getting setup here today. 1. I didn't know I had to hook 2 × 4-pin to the 6-pin bridge cable; 2. My 300-Watt PSU wasn't cutting it; 20+ blue screen of death, etc.; 3. I went and bought a 500-watt PSU tonight, installed immediately after arriving home; I am now achieving 5000+...
