nope, i tried 2 different dns servers, dind't work.. i have ruled out everything i could on my side... maybe i'll try again in the future.. thx everyone for their efforts,

thx Bruce, after all the verifictions i'm also brought to think that there's a problem with my ISP (that, by the way, is italian's largest......) tonight i will try changing my DNS primary server from 192.168.1.1 to a public DNS lookup server and see how it goes....... can someone tell my the detail...

done..rebooted in safe mode with networking... i checked that internet connection was working, all ok, but folding client had the same problem... no wu download..

all AV programs are disabled in main PC... and the other PC in my home network, that shows the same behaviuor, does not even have an AV installed....

thx, already done that... booted the pc and the modem... i point out that at the beginning of the problems, 2 days ago, only the gpu download was halted, the cpu was successfully donwloading... after i reinstall the client yesterday (AFTER the successuff cpu wu download in the log), also the cpu got...

nope... boinc was a false alarm, it just downloaded the new wus... as for the 2 av apps, just keep it present that they were both active in the last days when everything was fine...in any case, in case a recent automatic update blocked something, i just tried disabling them both, still no go....now ...

i'm sorry if i'm making you lose time... i'm very frustrated for all this... problem is that i didn't change the router settings.... not a bit... so why was it working and suddendly it does not ? i have a sitecom x6 n900.. is there a specific setting i should look at ? then o have win dows 64 bit 8....

thanks, no luck with the restart method either.... but if i'm reading correctly the server status, it seems there are 0 WUs available....does that mean that the server just run out of GPU WUs, and that everybody else on this planet is in this situation ? is this a normally recurring situation ? ) ot...
