quote : lag is caused by slow GPUs and/or big projects
As my GPU doesn't lag with many WU, is there a way to avoid big projects ?

GPU memory limitation
Hi there, Using F@H 7.6.21 on my W7x64 desktop PC, I noticed that I could let the GPU slot running all the time, even if watching movies, as long as the WU memory requirement was "low enough". It is about 1.2-1.8Gb right now and the display is lagging / has adherences. Is there a way to li...

Re: Failed to send results to work server
The gpu server you were using had a problem and core 11 has been retired. Have a look at this post and the thread in general. You can remove your gpu slot. Work Unit, Core, Slot, I'm not sure I know exactly what you're talking about. I thought the GPU slot was the ability for FAHClient to give the ...

Failed to send results to work server
Hi there, Several month ago, I asked malwarebytes anti-malware and superantispyware to scan (standard scan, nothing fancy) my computer and I deleted all the "things" found. Since then (well, I guess) My GPU slot doesn't work any more (CPU does). Here is the log: As my W7 is french, "A...

Re: FAHcontrol can not connect to the client any more
My router can allow (attribute ?) fixed IP addresses based on MAC address. My desktop computer (which runs the remote FAHcontrol) is 192.168.1.19 and my laptop (which runs the FAHclient) is 192.168.1.18

Re: FAHcontrol can not connect to the client any more
Thank you, it solved the problem ! Can I then use the parameters you gave me to connect from a remote FAHcontrol ? Password: blank Reenter: blank Port: 36330 (i.e. don't change from default) IP address restriction Allow: 127.0.0.1 192.168.1.0/24 Deny: 0.0.0.0/0 Passwordless IP address restriction Al...

Re: FAHcontrol can not connect to the client any more
I'm through with v6 now but thanks for the remark. As the v7 client is not accessible, the "Configure" buttons (in the local FAHcontrol as well as in the remote FAHcontrol) only offers one single tab which is "Connection". No "Remote access" tab any more... I think the ...

FAHcontrol can not connect to the client any more
Hi there, I upgraded from V6 to V7.3.6 a few days ago. Both V6 and V7 were running, the time for v6 to finish its WU (by the way, the -oneunit option did not work, it downloaded a new unit after finishing this one although I restarted the service (and not the computer)). I then stopped the service a...

Passkey or not passkey ?
Hi there, I've been running FAH (v6.34 as a service) for quite a while now (on my SMP desktop, on my (old) 2 core 2 clients laptop and on my (new) SMP laptop). I want to switch to passkey but was wondering if it could be troublesome if I switch one PC to passkey while the other one is running withou...
