am not sure the cause or remedy for the clock skew? nothing on the computer is overclocked and the card is at stock settings. I am going to try to install the MSI afterburner software and see if that will help but theses are EVGA cards and I am not sure it will work.

as for the GPU it is an EVGA GTX 480 Hydro Copper FTW, liquid cooled unit with GPU at 752 Mhz and ram at 1900 Mhz from the factory. I have attempted using the EVGA precision X software to tune it down but it will only affect the GPU clock and only reduce it by 2Mhz .
