Re: GTX 1660Ti Compute Performance
This usually happens after a driver recovery ... do you have something like this in Event viewer ? Nothing in the logs, but this sounds plausible. I do see some sort of FAH crash/resource overuse. I may have had a lock up and reset the machine, I probably had a VirtualBox Linux session (not for fol...

Re: GTX 1660Ti Compute Performance
Update 4: I think something happened midway through that caused the card to stop "Boosting" and run at stock 1500 MHz despite wiggle room in heat dissipation and power consumption. I upgraded drivers as a new release just came out (419.17 -> 419.35) and the reload seemed to help activate b...

Re: GTX 1660Ti Compute Performance
Update 3: 3/8 closed out with 689,896 points. The last bunch of work units I've been getting are not as friendly so my PPD is below 500k. So the card is capable of 700k+ peak but YMMV. I hope this helps anyone considering a purchase. I will be returning to normal PC operations, but probably fold a l...

Re: GTX 1660Ti Compute Performance
Update 2: The PPD estimator in Advanced Controls generally hovers around 630k PPD. Obviously, different project's work units produce different results. For the two full calendar days that I've been folding, I haven't broken 600k (528k and 594k). In actuality, a large 108,800 unit was submitted like ...

Can you let us know what OS you are running as well please?
Edit: I'll also add that my CPU is an i5-3570K and I'm not running any of the CPU cores.

Re: GTX 1660Ti Compute Performance
1st update! Card type: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 Ti WINDFORCE OC 6G Card speed: 1845 MHz (I have not increased beyond the mfgr's overclock) It looks like it's capable of around 700k PPD. However, I was watching quite a few youtube streams in the evening (8 railroad web cams tiled on a 2560x1440 disp...

Re: GTX 1660Ti Compute Performance
We yet have to see the first person posting actual PPDs on the 1660. I'm eager to see if it's closer to a 1070, or a 2060... Someone buy one please! Still waiting! Someone must have one already? I haven't folded in a while, but I have one and wanted to put it through its paces. I pulled in th...

Re: PPD list - GPU and CPU
More than OK. My i5-3570k overclocked can hit 15-20k PPD depending on workunit. My 560 TI hits 25k PPD and my 460 hits 14k PPD. ALl running in the same machine.

Re: FahCore_16.exe - System Error
It looks like he's running Windows XP. I don't think ATI/AMD has released drivers for XP that supported OpenCL since 12.1 or so.
