Re: V7.6.21 Links broken by new F@H stats website
16 April: The new Folding@home stats website has been reintroduced and has again broken the links in the Folding@home Client as described in my post above (the only difference are that the link which should return the individual project page, again returns the list of projects but it is now sorted ...

V7.6.21 Links broken by new F@H stats website
*********************** UPDATE (13 April): Since I posted this yesterday it seems that the change to the new stats website has been rolled back. The old links are now working again pointing to old style pages. In the case of the Donor link both versions below currently reach the desired page but for...

13404 (378, 16 ,0) failed at 49%
Hi, Project 13404 (Run 378, Clone 16, Gen 0) has failed this morning at 49% due to 'Following exception occured: Particle coordinate is nan'. I reported a similar issue yesterday relating to 13405 (156,45,0) (see https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=35144 ), at which time the WU Status ...

Re: 13405 (156, 45, 0) failed at 48%
These simulations do have a nonzero failure rate due to their nature. We're trying to iteratively refine them and make them more robust, but right now we need to gather data, analyze it, and identify what the main causes of non-robustness are. ~ John Chodera // MSKCC I don't know whether the detail...

13405 (156, 45, 0) failed at 48%
Hi, Project 13405 (Run 156, Clone 45, Gen 0) has just failed at 48% due to 'Following exception occured: Particle coordinate is nan'. My machine is not overclocked and has had no previous failures as far as I am aware. In addition, the WU Status page for this WU indicates that it is the third failur...

Re: How to abort a way to big WU?
Hi, I have no authoritative knowledge of the workings of the software, however I do have some years experience of running the Advanced Control in Windows. Regarding the pause process causing work to be lost, I believe the replies above to be incorrect (at least for my environment, Windows 10 using t...

Re: new, When can I expect to see my stats.
The official stats are working again (don't all check at once please). @moonxlight https://stats.foldingathome.org/donor/68859067 It appears that although the ‘Total score’ and the ‘Total WUs’ links have differently ending query strings (‘&type=score’ and ‘&type=wus’ respectively) both curr...

Re: Only Using 44% GPU
Hi, Just to support the above replies, assuming the 44% figure you are quoting is taken from Windows Task Manager (set to show ‘More details’) I agree it is likely that the Cuda capability of your Graphics card is being fully utilised. To confirm this using Task Manager, switch to the Task Manager -...

Re: 171.67.108.45:80 and 171.64.65.35:80 - Empty work server
I have seen rare instances where port 80 didn't work, but port 8080 always works unless the AS is off-line entirely -- though sometimes they' have been blocked by the local networking security settings. Having been crunching GPUGrid tasks for a while it seems that they currently have far more GPU r...

Re: 171.67.108.45:80 and 171.64.65.35:80 - Empty work server
FYI: Whilst there might be an issue with 32-bit systems it is presumably not the root cause as my system was running Windows 10 Home 64-bit with 16GB RAM when I raised the issue.

Re: 171.67.108.45:80 and 171.64.65.35:80 - Empty work server
Bruce thanks for explaining the infrastructure – I take it then that donors have no visibility of server stats on whether assignment servers are functioning correctly. As regards, the potential “max-packet-size = big” workaround I only tried it briefly getting four further instances of the error bef...

Re: 171.67.108.45:80 and 171.64.65.35:80 - Empty work server
If anyone else is experiencing this issue I suggest you read the thread 'WU's Not Being Assigned by 171.67.108.102/171.67.108.105/?' at viewtopic.php?f=18&t=30024 It seems to describe the same problem where the client is stuck polling a pair of servers that do not issue WU’s. That thread propose...

Re: 171.67.108.45:80 and 171.64.65.35:80 - Empty work server
Hi foldy,
Thanks for your advice - I've just tried setting "max-packet-size=big" as you suggest (saved and restarted) but unfortunately in my case it did not work.
