Re: [Arch Linux] "FahCore returned: UNKNOWN_ENUM (127 = 0x7f
I know this is an older thread, but I thought it may be worthwhile to add for anyone else that may be experiencing this problem that I was able to resolve this on my installation of Debian 8 thanks to the suggestion of seatsea. After installing NVIDIA drivers (340.96) as directed at https://wiki.deb...

Re: Failing all GPU Work Units
Thanks for responding, Joe! I am actually running Linux, but now that you mentioned it, I remember that I saw an NVIDIA driver security update before I left last week. I had installed the update and never thought twice about it. I have downgraded my driver back to what its previous version and I am ...

Failing all GPU Work Units
Hi there, I seem to be failing GPU Work Units on both of my graphics cards. My cards have not been folding for a week since I have been on vacation. I just got back home and started the cards back up and they are now getting BAD_WORK_UNIT errors on every unit that they receive from several different...

Re: The Folding@Home GPU Statistics Database
Database Update: I have some good news! In response to my previous update, I had a very generous forum user offer to pay for the cost of the hosting plan in full! The user asked to be kept anonymous because public recognition was not the reason for their generosity. So I am glad to report that I ha...

Re: The Folding@Home GPU Statistics Database
Yeah it probably would be a good idea to explicitly state the conditions of the use of the data so there is no confusion. Thanks for the link as well! (I have actually been doing a little reading on the free software licenses (morality and practicality) and the differences between the Free Software ...

Re: The Folding@Home GPU Statistics Database
Database Update: As many of you probably already know, I have not been active with the database for what feels like a very long time to me. Unfortunately, I have been required to give my attention to things in my life other than the database. I have also not been keeping up with FAH updates so I do...

Re: New web site
I don't know if this has been brought up in the last 7 pages or not because I don't have time to read all of them, but as of now it's still not fixed. When you click "Start Folding" and the window appears pointing to download links, the "Install Guide" button ultimately goes to h...

Re: The Folding@Home GPU Statistics Database
Personal Update: I have been quite busy lately. I'm actually writing this while in class. There are some records that need to be added as well as a WuHistory.db3 file that I just received. Unfortunately, to add those records, some intermediate code needs to be written with SQL joins and whatnot. Po...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7
Does anyone know or have suggestions on how to merge two WuHistory.db3 files into one so that HFM.NET can still read it? I imagine you'd have to use an application that can create a new database file from scratch and add the two WuHistory.db3 files by importation. AFAIK the file just has to be in S...

Re: GPU is on the whitelist, but v7.3.6 isn't seeing it
I learned this a while ago with the same GPU: the list to which you are referring is not only GPUs that are whitelisted, but rather all recognized GPUs, even blacklisted (unsupported) ones. I own the same GPU and I worked around the blacklisting by running the GPU with FAH GPU Tracker, but that was ...

Database Update:
- The form to submit data has been fixed. I had tested it and it worked, but then I changed some code and forgot that that code would change the form code. Long story short, it didn't work, but it's been fixed.

Re: FahCore_15.exe CPU Usage Spikes
The current projects being worked on are 8070 and 8071.
The interval between spikes is about 29 seconds and the spike lasts for about 8 seconds. TPF for the projects is 3 minutes 14 seconds.

FahCore_15.exe CPU Usage Spikes
I currently run my primary system at SMP:6 out of 8. I run Process Explorer in the background with the CPU graph in the taskbar. I noticed that the graph at intervals will show use of 100% of the CPU rather than 75%. I opened up the window for Process Explorer, watched for a few seconds, and noticed...

Re: Folding on Two GPUs Causes Low Performance
I think you guys were right! I had manually changed the opencl-index and cuda-index both to 0 as mentioned in this thread and it started folding rather than keep throwing GPU_MEMTEST_ERRORS. I figured everything was fine, except that two slots were then configured to run on one card! I just changed ...
