Re: nickanme change same passkey?

thanks for your replies guys.. Or use a new name and keep on using the same passkey. If they enable the passkey only search again, then you would see points for all work done under that passkey no matter which name or team was used. yea something like that.. keep my key and update name.. I also chan...

nickanme change same passkey?

hi there guys, it's great to see this project still alive! I used it in the past and then for different reasons I stopped folding; now that I have a second working PC I definitively want to start doing it again. so I searched through my emails for an old passkey and I found it.. my question is: what...

Re: Please help with FAH configuration

sorry but you have to give more details about your configuration if you want that somebody will try to help you solving your problem.. anyway, generally FAH works using 100% of your CPUs but it has the lowest nice possible ( nice means the priority of the project, just in few words and being not ver...

Re: Stanford Network Issue

As far as setting the time goes, I have never seen a way to set the time on any of the different clients and machines I run. It seems to be set for GMT, UTC, ZULU, or whatever they call it this week. Sorry, but, what warning? My GPU always gets the same two lines you posted. I assumed (look out) th...

Re: Stanford Network Issue

But it seems to me that something is still to be repaired.. I'm actually still receiving warnings, it happens a few minutes ago.. 21:26:50:Unit 00: Upload complete 21:26:50:Server responded WORK_ACK (400) another question: the client time is always set to +0 timezone, or so it seems.. it is in fact ...

Re: Stanford Network Issue

The most likely explanation is that you previously ran the WU and it failed at some point and sent results back to Stanford. You were then reassigned the WU and completed it, when you sent it back the server rejected it from you because you had already sent the results. The other thing I have seen ...

Re: Stanford Network Issue

Hi.. I would like to ask you for a question.. these days we spent a lot of time talking about the outage of the Stanford's server and the wish that all works wouldn't have being lost.. So it has been normal, in last 3 days, to see this warning at the end of the uploading process of a project.. 01:32...

Re: Stanford Network Issue

I would like to ask for a question that maybe could seems OT.. How do you take note of the points that still have to be assigned (in general and in this particular situation): by adding finished scores to a personal text file? or how?

thanks..

Re: Stanford Network Issue

this is the good news we were waiting for: http://folding.typepad.com/news/2011/12/update-on-outage-fah-has-been-up-as-of-sunday-stats-back-on-line-now.html Here's our (I think) last update on this recent outage. This was a major disaster at Stanford affecting the whole campus and I'm grateful for o...

Propaganda: Twitter Timespent like widget

Hello.. as maybe you understand from the object of this 3d, what I'm proposing is a Twitter widget just like the Timespent one, which post on Twitter a message like this: My #twitter_age is 4 years 333 days 9 hours 1 minute 4 We could send something like: My FAH point are ... I'm #X of the XXXXX tea...

Re: Stanford Network Issue

it seems to me that the problem still exists! in the last day I just finished 4 works into 3 different machines but into the stats it appears that I finished last work on december 8: I hope that all this work is not going to be lost.. one question: what the FAH team do suggest to: stopping folding o...

Re: Coming back to folding@home / Intel i3 & nVidia Gefore G

mmm.. but if you think the result would be worst I don't want to do it.. maybe just 2, surely not 4!! do you think 2 project would be good? Actually I'm just becoming familiar with the GUI and its option.. and yes, naturally I noticed the sample config file, but you must admit that for a novice dono...

Re: Coming back to folding@home / Intel i3 & nVidia Gefore G

I think you're talking about the default being to use 4 cores out of 4. If not, please help me understand what you mean. yea, that's exactly the question which confused me.. as Joe_H said, it seems that I'm using SMP folding, even if I have a 32bit OS! Or maybe we are both right.. what do you if yo...
