To answer the first question, I am never going to have anything BUT SSDs (the future of HDDs is grim as are all things spinning inside my next build!) so any new OS, APPs and data will be on SSDs as for media it's going to the cloud... So I did install a new OS W7 ultimate. on the SSD ,loaded v7.1.5...

Using v7.1.52 on a vista 64 machine, I have lost all ability to use my ATI radeon hd 6800 to fold as a GPU. This has been going on for a couple of days.
