Configuration Changes
Here I am again, asking more Newbie Questions. :) When I installed the clients I did the express installation as I hadn't done one since V6. One thing I would like to ask is, can one change the name and address field? it says you can't but, I imagine that it IS possible as I have seen a couple of in...

Re: Suggestion: Note Specific Projects in Paper Announcement
Sounds like a good idea actually. Would be nice to know that folding is having an impact
other than just points for daily folding.

Re: Fighting cancer on Folding@Home: EGFR
While all research is laudable, this one really catches my interest. I do hope I can get one of these soon.
I am running 7660 (1059,0,155) is it possible to download this project 13000 or is it just allocated ?

Re: Team Statistics
Thanks fellas. I guess I should have looked a little closer. I am sure I will get the hang of it soon. :) I have one system with AMD 955, GTX 560Ti and 8gb ram, another with AMD FX8150, GTX650 Ti and 16gb, main system, Intel i7 2600K O/C to 4ghz, GTX 660Ti and 32gb ram. They are all running 24/7 rig...

Team Statistics
I know this question may have been asked before but, I will ask anyway. I started folding about a month ago after a long hiatus, am using the beta client and it seems to be going good. What I would like to know is why in the statistics page http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/mai ... num=226025 it s...

I also agree. FAH must use the latest and most favourable technologies available.decali wrote: Thanks 7im, that's well put.
Advancing technology, whether it's better hardware or better software, is good for FAH.

Re: Nvidia Maxwell
I would think it will be a better platform as it has 640 cuda cores on the Ti as opposed to 512 on the GTX 750 and 384 on the Kepler. It will take a few months for us here in Australia to see any of these and they will be MUCH dearer than for buyers in America and other overseas countries. At $149.0...

Re: 334.89 WHQL drivers
I have just updated to this release yesterday and so far, I can't fault it.
It has stopped the screen going black for about 3 seconds every so often so,
until it does something very nasty, I will keep an eye on it.

Re: HFM net issues
I had a look in the preferences for Web setting and it has my team number and it has Stanford Use ID as 111 and the Extreme overclocking ID as 111. I never set these and could that be the reason my name is in Orange? The user name is EXACTLY the same in ALL my clients Thanks for all the help so far ...

Re: HFM net issues
No, I left the name the same and just changed the CPU.
But I am having the same issue with the PhenomII 955 in a different machine.
