Sorry to bump an old thread... My dad called me over today saying that Russians hacked into his computer and was making it send bogus data to folding@home.. So he hasn't been running folding@home anymore. Checked the logs and sure enough.. "Giving Russians Opium May Alter Current Situation"...

This reminds me of the old "Can you make folding@home run on my wii?" threads... The performance simply isn't there... These ARM chips as stated above take simplified instruction sets... But they're also very advanced when it comes to power management where their power usage scales almost ...

You called it.. There are just too few of the GPU3 / Core_15 work units.. It's the only thing the Fermi cards can run and my cards are plowing through them like nothing and then sitting around waiting 10 or 15 tries for it to pick up another one from the server.. The server can't dish them out fast ...

I've got three GTX 470s to feed and I haven't even gotten home yet!
