Re: Folding@home server not updating?

I was checking my hourly results here but the server doesn't seem to have updated in the past few hours: http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/mai ... rjohnson11 The stats server says it is currently updating: update started at Mon Dec 24 13:00:04 UTC 2012 (Mon Dec 24 05:00:04 PST 2012) but the cache...

Re: Ineligible for bonus

At this moment, I am not eligible for a bonus because I recently created a passkey. I want to get short WUs so I can quickly get to where I can get bonuses. Instead, I am getting long WUs, and it seems like I might even have to wait until 2013 to get bonuses. Can I do anything about it? Hi lakecoun...

Some Fermi projects not yet re-benchmarked

According to PG's bogpost unified-gpusmp-benchmarking-scheme-implemented : Most of the existing GPU projects have been re-benchmarked to reflect the changes in the benchmarking scheme. We are still in the process of re-benchmarking some old projects assigned to ATI and G80 GPUs. However, some Fermi ...

Re: GPU: Stream Processors - Bits, Number - what is importan

... I understand that AMD and nVidia are using different approaches regarding their GPUs, so anything I say is only directed towards AMD. (And Folding@Home, of course.) From what I can see, the most declared features of a GPU are the number of Stream Processors, the Memory (Bus?) Width, the clock S...

Re: DAB & transparency

Not sure what points I'm proving by letting you know that I didn't have the reference on hand to show you where Dr. Pande said that QRB for GPUs was in the plan, but, now that I am home from work and have time to look it up, here it is ( viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19042&p=190618#p190618 ). And th...

Re: Forum software upgrade

Is there any prospect of getting the View New Posts to work as it did prior to the upgrade? i.e. I do not have to mark forums as read, and I do not have to logout to get the new posts count reset. I have noticed that it is now only neccesary to logout to get the new posts count reset. i.e. I do not...

Re: Blog post: "Unified GPU/SMP benchmarking scheme ..."

I have no problem with a faster machine doing equal work getting more points. However i do have an issue with a WU with only 900 atoms being folded in the same amount of time and getting 3 x PPD as the 77,113 atom WU that i am currently folding on a dual L5640 machine. "Equal work means equal ...
