It says "can't apply settings without gpu client".
I've set the XML path, I have autodetected my client but it still gives me that error.

Sure. Appreciate the confirmation.

Re: Separate user stats for CPU's
I have to ask because I have done no CPU folding myself.
Doesn't fahinfo import their stats from FAH directly? Or does it require a fahmon data file? If so, does that mean that old stats can't be imported somehow?

Re: Separate user stats for CPU's
I assume the user based statistics come out after I register? Then it's fine, though I'd rather not register into yet another service.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Separate user stats for CPU's
If there would be separate statistics for CPU PPD, people would buy more CPU's where as now GPU has increasing popularity because PPD system favors it. People buy dual cores because PPD doesn't justify quad cores when there's 3-4 GPU's.

Re: Simulating Drug interactions with Proteins?
I realised it was a joke, but I would have given it more weight if I had suggested scrapping old drugs.
I do think differently on whether the amphetamines work or not. People think there might be brain damage from longer use, etc. For me that is not 'working'.

Re: Simulating Drug interactions with Proteins?
Does FAH research have applications in batteries as well?

Re: Simulating Drug interactions with Proteins?
I think that we don't need much more data on those drugs. They are old and need to be replaced with something better and that's where research should be focused.

Re: Explicit/Implicit ratio?
My guess is that this isn't a big problem mostly because of the huge amount of work there is to be done to fully understand the folding process. Using completely arbitrary numbers (since I don't have any idea what they are) suppose that there are enough clients to do 10% of the explicit work and th...

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)
Thanks guys but installing 2.3.2b only made the core appear as GPUv2. Nothing else got better.
Currently I have 1200 points and fahmon still shows 97 points.

temp split
Fahmon doesn't work with my setup. I have 2.3.2a and I read from the screen: Core: Unknown (should be GPU2) Credit: 97 points (I have either 485 or 80 something) When I click Download new projects, it appears to download something but it does not show work progress at all, no PPD and no ETA. Why, wh...

Yes! I finally got it up & running but not with Freeproxy but with this:

It has very simple and good instructions!

Re: ICS problem
I tried installing Freeproxy and even that was too much for me. I hate having to sell the crossover cable because of ecological reasons and buying electronics to do a simple task.

ICS problem
Hi. I have a new computer I'd like to connect to the internet to get/send work and do this with a crossover ethernet cable. First when I checked the LAN's 'Obtain an IP address automatically' , I got 'limited/no connectivity'. Now that I assigned the LAN of the computer with Internet as 192.168.0.1 ...

Antidepressant@Home...
When will there be opportunities to donate one's time to develop better antidepressants? The current range of medications isn't that good and surely this kind of open development would appeal to at least smaller companies. I'm sure the data privacy could be made good enough or not? I know that Roset...
