Re: PPD Database - HFM exports needed

Its likely to be a combination of the stock wraith cooler being too small for full load, memory timings, and manual OC. Memory clocks determine what Infinity fabric runs at, which is how fast the chiplets and IO die talk to each other. Since FAH reserves one core for the GPU and core counts of 23 an...

Re: PPD Database - HFM exports needed

Here's an updated log, the first 90 were uploaded before. R9 3900X @ 21 cores, RX 5700 XT factory OC

http://www.mediafire.com/file/e6a2jufpv ... T.csv/file

If there is a GPU, 24 cores end up at 21. Lower PPD could be due to the stock cooler causing throttling. 24 cores would work for most projects.

Re: Folding@Home after Covid-19

Each lab that makes up the Folding@Home Consortium work on projects that the lab is focused on. If a lab focused on Antibiotic resistance were to join FAH, there would be projects on that.

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Cluster

You might get to fold on them as a early client exists for ARM. No idea when it will sow up in beta form.

Re: PPD Database - HFM exports needed

Have you used Tools > Download projects From Sanford in HFM to get updated point values for the various projects?

Re: Different folding power for idle/non-idle?

You try asking for half power to be added to FAHcontrol-plus

Re: Nightmare

Some third party program is using a .dll that is the same as the one FAH wants to install. If you have GoG exit it and try to install the 7.6.11 beta client https://foldingathome.org/beta/

Re: There is no domain decomposition for 20 ranks

Once you have downloaded a WU you can never increase the number of cores it can use, only lower them. In this case you would want to try 18, or lower, and have the client finish the WU and then change your cores back to 24 or 21.
