Bruce, No, I did delete the work unit. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that manual run in a cmd prompt next time.

Re: 6516 (17 40 10) will not fold.
MBM, No, it just sat there, there were no new entries in the log for several hours. It produced the same log results every time I restarted the service. So I deleted queue.dat and \work several times until I got a new work unit. This is a dual PIII motherboard running at 1 GHz, no other problems. I ...

Hi. I have a work unit that wil not progress past 'Entering M.D.' Here is the log. I'll be dumping this unit to get another. This machine is not overclocked, and has been folding for years successfully. # Windows CPU Console Edition ################################################# #################...

Re: Problem with Project: 6511 (Run 7, Clone 16, Gen 34)
HendricksSA, I did upgrade my client to 6.23, and deleted the work files again. This time the new client noticed the crash, and then downloaded a new WU without my intervention. Thanks, I hadn't noticed I was using an old client.

Problem with Project: 6511 (Run 7, Clone 16, Gen 34)
Hi. I am having a proble with Project: 6511 (Run 7, Clone 16, Gen 34) Every time I delete the queue and work folder and restart, the same WU is downloaded again and errors out with this: [12:01:38] Trying to send all finished work units [12:01:38] + No unsent completed units remaining. [12:01:38] - ...

Cannot get any work units
Hi. I run 8 classic clients, as each one completes a work unit, a new WU cannot be downloaded. I only have three left to complete. Five clients are trying to download, and they can't. I tried cycling one, but download. Here is a clip from one of my logs: --- Opening Log file [October 31 13:24:04 UTC...

Re: New Stats possible problem
OK, Thanks for the answer. I've been folding for a long time now, waiting 50 days is no big deal. Thanks for getting the stats back and working.

Re: New Stats possible problem
Hi, and no, I have not reconfigured a lot in the last week or so. I read another recent post about this issue, and that is not the answer for me.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

New Stats possible problem
Hi. Thanks for turning on the stats again, but I see a small problem. My active clients for past 7 and 50 days are a litle to big. My max clients should be 15, not 30 and 26. My stats page can be viewed at "http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=userpage&teamnum=80258&usernam...

Re: Project: 2498 (Run 269, Clone 10, Gen 1)
Hi. I have had the same WU fail also, at 7%. Purged files 3 times now, maybe fourth purge will be the cure, and I can move on to another WU.

Re: What are stats on WU 1740?
So, if I copy the entire folder as is, that gets me the same machine ID [1]. If I copy the UserID field from the registry to the other machine, is that the machine ID you refer to? If it is such a risk, I will set the flag to ask before connecting to the internet, then move it back when all processi...

Re: What are stats on WU 1740?
Downloaded 6/27/2009, FahMon is estimating a completion of 7/23/2009. That's a problem. I will move it to a better machine. Thanks for the answers.

Re: Resuming work unit after installing new OS
codysluder, thanks for the clarification, but from what I understand (from other posts) without the old user id, the current wu's would be discarded, and new ones downloaded. I just thought arkaxow would want to complete his old wu's. I have used the user id on a backup machine when the current mach...
