Re: FAH Core 24 Fails Xubuntu 18.04 extended
Hi guys - thanks for the feedback. Forgot to mention - it's running the last FAH7 version. Yesterday I updated From Mint 19.2 to Mint 19.3. I see no option from within 19.3 to update to Mint 20 or newer. Today I deleted the Core24 Folder and let it download again. Nothing has changed. Core 22 and Co...

Re: FAH Core 24 Fails Xubuntu 18.04 extended
I'm having the same issue as the OP. Linux Mint 19.2 - Intel i5-2500K - GTX 1070 System is GPU only Folding. Works fine with Core22 and Core23 work Same four rapid Failures with Core24. My solution is to shut off Folding on that system. Because... after what happened after the release of Core23, I d...

Re: NVIDIA GPUs stuck at Send or Clear after completing WUs
This issue was covered in a group of posts here on the forum. https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?t=40862 It is an issue with Windows 7 systems and the new GPU Core23. Windows 7 systems cannot fold on that new core. Well.. they Fold to 100% then fail to return the finished work. At which point th...

Fahcore_23 still broken on Windows 7 systems
The Fahcore_23 work units are back out as public work units. And once again, they do not work correctly on Windows 7 Folding systems. As reported here https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?t=40534 The work units start and run fine. But they get to 100% completed - and just stall. Which means that t...

WOW...
Thanks for getting this iGPU in the whitelist.
I told my friend to restart his Lenovo Flex to try and pick up the updated GPUs.txt.
I'll let you know what he says.

Please add Radeon Graphics RX Vega 7 to whitelist
A friend got a Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 and is trying to Fold with it.
I suspect the onboard GPU is not in the whitelist.
He sent me a screenshot of his GPUz page.
Vendor: lenovo
Device ID: 1002 15E7 - 17AA 3806
Can this be added to GPUs.txt?

Re: Fahcore_23 v8.0.3 project:17116 run:5 clone:470 gen:0 core:0x23 Hangs at 100%
I found a post on urban network about Windows 7. I think it's only 10 months old. In January 2020 Windows 7 had a 25.56 percent slice of the desktop operating system marketplace, and since then this figure has only dropped slightly. At the moment Windows 7 still holds a considerable 22.71 percent ch...

I am having the same issue as the OP on P17116 R3 C627 G0. Work blazes through to 100% the last useful line of the log is: Core Shutdown : Finished work unit. Then nothing. GTX 1650 super I think - on Windows 7 I also noticed that when I exit the Folding client... the new Core 23 was still running i...

Re: Work Unit 18706- Too short deadline
Your GPU has been changed to different species, which means it was put to the different performance tier bracket. While you will not be receiving these type of projects anymore, please keep in mind your GPU will be getting much less work, since at the moment there are not too many small projects wh...

Re: Work Unit 18706- Too short deadline
I reported this same issue back in July. You would think that the researcher would notice all the delayed and reissued work units is actually Slowing down their project. And adjust the deadline. But I guess not. At the very least, they could restrict the project to fewer classes of video cards in th...

Re: Project 18409/a8 EXTREMELY large WU???
Project 18409 has a Timeout of 7 Days. So if you only work on it 12 hours a day.. you'll still get it in on time. Also, I remember being told you should Not set the number of CPU Folding cores/threads to prime numbers. That it created stability issues. If nothing else, you should drop your core coun...

Project 18706 - Timeout too short
Can someone check on the benchmark for Project 18706. I think the timeout was set too short when the project came online. It has 188,026 Atoms but the Timeout is only one day. Project Atoms Timeout 18706 188,026 1 day 18477 90,548 1.5 days 19012 90,246 1 day As you can see, projects with half as man...

Re: Slow upload to 128.252.203.11 times out
This issue has been reported several times in the last few months. My read of the issue - because it happened to me too, is not that the Server is the prime issue... but that something is configured slightly wrong with project 18201. The post https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=37508 h...
