Gentlemen,

A teammate from Team 13802, Forum PCs - Brasil, is receiving the following message when he tries to send this WU :
hudsonsilva wrote: [17:38:15] + Attempting to get work packet
[17:38:15] - Connecting to assignment server
[17:38:23] - Successful: assigned to (171.65.103.162).
[17:38:23] + News From Folding@Home: Welcome to Folding@Home
[17:38:23] Loaded queue successfully.
[17:38:36] + Could not get Work unit data from Work Server
[17:38:36] - Attempt #4 to get work failed, and no other work to do.
Waiting before retry.
[17:38:51] - Server does not have record of this unit. Will try again later.
[17:38:51] Could not transmit unit 02 to Collection server; keeping in queue.
I know there is several reasons that it may occurs, but can someone tell me if this WU has been already computed ?

Thanks in advanced.

Best Regards, Fernando.

Hello Fernando,

So far no one has returned that WU, but two other people returned the previous generation at these times:
2009-02-26 09:00:05
2009-03-06 12:00:03

both for full credit.

Please encourage your teammate to post a larger portion of his FAHlog.txt - in particular, the part starting at about 98% completion of the troubled work unit, up through the point where his computer tries to send it, gives up and tries to get new work from the server. It will also help to know the type of equipment being used to Fold this uniprocessor work unit.

Great sig, btw - I remember Dick from when I first joined the project. His spirit is still alive in the community here.

Hello Susato,

After I read your post, I ask Hudson to try the parameter -send all again and he sended the WU successfully.

Thank you.

About my sig, I was more active when this forum was out of Stanford and before I had to do a "forced long pit stop" in a hospital, due a heart attack, and Dick was one that helped me a lot, not to mention the countless times that qd/qfix helped me and my team to recovery from lost situations. All moderators here are very good ones, but due his efforts, I agree with you. He is alive in this forum and in the Folding@Home Project while it last.

Thank you once more.

Best Regards, Fernando.
