Same Error with several different clients

I am experiencing an error that I haven't seen before and can't find another topic that is similar. I just built a new rig and first installed 64bit Xubuntu and tried to run the smp client. Couldn't get it working so I decided for the night the notfred folding disk would suffice. Same error. Today when I had more time I installed Windows Vista Enterprise X64 and tried the MPICH client. All the same errors. Is my username messed up or what. Exactly the same error message in three different clients. I have been away for over a month and not folded under any name. I also tried with my passcode and without. Can anyone shed some light on this?

This means your clients are not able to connect to Stanford. Something on your network is blocking the client from getting to the internet, and then getting to Stanford to get an ID or any work units.

Your user name and passkey have no affect on network connectivity. Your firewall/router is the most common cause.

Do you have other clients that can connect and get work? How are they connected to the internet?

You were exactly right 7im. Filter proxy was checked on my Linksys and as soon as it was unchecked it was off to the races. Thanks for your help!
