Warning - Linux/OSX WINE GPU folding may break on Mar 2 2009

We're planning to release a new NVIDIA GPU core from beta testing to the general F@h public on Monday. It uses CUDA functionality which is not supported by the current release of the WINE wrapper that has been used to run the GPU client under Linux, and therefore will trigger an immediate EUE. I have alerted the developers of the wrapper; once they are able to compile a new version of the wrapper that encapsulates the required functionality, any Linux/OSX GPU folders will need to update their cudart.dll.so files to avoid immediate EUEs with core 14. As we're not responsible for the development of the wrapper, please direct questions about that to the relevant forum thread (viewtopic.php?f=52&t=3744).
My apologies for the hassle, but please remember that WINE is an unsupported platform; we're still working on the native Linux build which should eliminate these complications. I just wanted to give all of you early warning so you can appropriately plan.
