Hi,
Pardon the randomness of this question but I am very serious about it and hope that all whom read it take it seriously as well.

I'm interested in the significance (if any) of the protein sequence PPLPPP. Does this particular mis-folded sequence indicate any specific disease or disorder? Is there ANY biochemical significance to this sequence whatsoever? Where can I go to find out more information concerning this sequence? Is there anyway I can force the client on my computer to examine this sequence?

I wish I could explain my reasoning for my interest in this particular sequence, but I cannot do that rationally...at least not yet.

I did a BLAST search for PPLPPP and it came up with 971 different matches, though not all contain a perfect match to to PPLPPP. I guess you could perform the search ur self and browse the list and see if any of these proteins containing a PPLPPP sound like they are related to whatever you suspect they might be related to.

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but:

PPLPPP is the C-terminal recognition sequence for the PI3K SH3 domain. SH3 being Src Homology 3 which mediates protein-protein interactions involved in extracellular signal response.

Do a search on PubMed for PI3K SH3 and you'll get some interesting results. (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez)

It is thought to be used by Influenza A to prevent virus induced apoptosis during Influenza infections.
