It means that you have to upgrade your client to 6.23 : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=6642

i shut down my client and i replace Folding@home-Win32-x86.exe by http://www.stanford.edu/~kasson/folding ... 32-x86.exe and restart my client?
i have downloaded the smp client there is 2 ou 3 days ; this client is not updated? (6.22 beta2 for MPICH (32-bit or 64-bit)

Just replace your current exe with the one given in the linked post.

In French : la version disponible sur le site avec l'installeur n'est pas complètement à jour. Il faut que tu remplace ton exe actuel (fournit avec l'installeur) par celui qui est donné dans le post. Il suffit de quitter le client, remplacer l'exe, et relancer.

This means that there has been some sort of communications error. In most cases, upgrading the client to v6.23 will take care of the problem. In rare cases, you may have a proxy or firewall between your machine and the internet which discards important messages.
