Hi again,

This wu was started on the 13 and finished yesterday. I was watching for the updates at EOC's stats page but it was not credited. With it being a larger point wu it is very noticeable when used in an update.

I am using vmware and linux to do this smp folding because it almost doubles my points and the wu gets done faster for faster results to give back to the folding project. I just checked this sites official stats http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/mai ... range=2000 for my user name and for the wu 2668 and the 2669 wu, there is not one listing for either of them. As can be seen in this post and this one ... http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=7968 ... at least one of them were completed, were uploaded and accepted and thanks were given.

So my questions are what might have happened? And I am curious about how long from the time that any wu is confirmed to be uploaded to stanfords servers and the time that they are put into the system as a completed wu so any points will be given where they are due?!?!

It usually take up to 3 hours for a WU to show in the stats ... sometimes a bit more.

There's only one report for this WU in the DB ... but it's not under your username.

Strangely, username/teamnumber and CPUID match with this WU : viewtopic.php?f=19&t=7968

There might be an issue with your client configurations.

This matches with your log ... but something is wrong with your username and team number ...

Ok, progress, great.

So on the 9th and 10th of this month I did notice that the wu were credited to me and it would have been the same un/tn/cpuid as this and the other post that you mentioned.

I will ask about my config elsewhere but the 1st two that I did, 9th/10th, worked good, my hardware did the work and got credit for it.

But as to these two specific wu you can see that I have log files and the only way I could have gotten them was from my computer here so can the credit be given where it was earned?

I don't really want to give out my passkey but it starts with these characters: 89d56034... I don't know what you mean for a user id of 5846... what/where would this be for me? I only fold for team 37726 but I did wcg for over two years.

The 8th was when I was finally able to get the vmware/linux running properly hense the extra ppd for the 9/10th. From then on to today I have done a 1920 pointer in about 28-32 hours so there might be more missing that I know of.

ps: more progress. I checked in fahmon and that 5846... id is what is showing in the log for my vmware appliance, but the two gpu2's have an id starting with 5410... I asked for some help and it should come before this smp wu is complete, 9h29m left to go.

The client.cfg file on network ip that vm makes has just a basic config. I don't know why that would be as a copy I made of it is good with all my info.

Run your client with -configonly flag, and you'll be able to enter all client settings again.

Ok, I tried it three times already and although I did enter my passkey I got different user id because it could not be found locally. Here is what I have found for info. The 1st and 2nd time I got the same id that we know about already. The third time I totally uninstalled the vmplayer, reobooted and reinstall. I then got another copy of the vm linux appliance. Went through putting in my Nic and passkey, it don't ask for the team number cause the fella that made this made it for Overclockers dot net.
