Computer vs video download

I have just realized that I downloaded the windows version of Folding. I have a nvidia 8600 will the windows program recognize that or do I need to download the GPU version?
If I switch now will it know who I am ?

Just uninstall the Windows one and install the GPU2 one. Your FAH client configuration may remain intact or not, but it is easy to reconfigure it.
