Totally weird, Since the forum went down last week, I haven't been able to access the forum.

After being told it was up, I just used Tor to get in.... Anyone else here from Canada, particular Ont. and Rogers?

My Ip is 99.246.xxx.xxx

Ugh........ thanks

Difficulties accessing Forum

For the last week or so I have been unable to access this forum directly; currently I am using a proxy to post.

DNS resolves foldingforum.org to be 99.198.108.202 ; however attempts to access http://foldingforum.org via any browser result in (representative message from IE 7) "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

For what it's worh a traceroute shows:

Code: Select all

Try contacting your ISP about the issue, they might have a better idea about why the connection isn't getting through.

I'm also on ROGERS.COM and experience the same black hole at dr02.ord02.singlehop.net [67.212.191.186]. The addresses for FOLDINGFORUM.ORG and the two designated name servers from SITEGROUND.COM are inaccessible for some reason. Both are apparently hosted in the SINGLEHOP.NET address block. I've sent support e-mail to both organizations without any replies as yet. It sounds like Stanford has to start phoning their web service resellers to get this resolved...

In my past experience, ROGERS support is utterly useless. I've contacted both SINGLEHOP and SITEGROUND to alert them to the problem. So far no resolution...
