This unit went to 100% at which point I got a Client-core communications error. I tried to run qfix on it, and now it says the work unit has already been sent! But nowhere in my log does it show the WU being successfully sent.

Code: Select all

entry 5, status 0, address 171.64.65.64:8080
entry 6, status 1, address 171.67.108.24:8080
File is OK
Is there some way to unmark this WU as sent so I can upload it?

Try this procedure :

- run the client with "-delete 04" flag
- run qfix
- restart the client, it should send the recovered result.

I tried that, but it still says the work unit is "already sent."

Code: Select all

root@underground ~/.fah # ./fah6 -delete 04

What does the client say when you restart it ?

The client just ignores it and goes on working the next WU.

I am sure the deadline for this WU is fast approaching. Is there really no way I can send the results?

Well it's past deadline now, so nothing I can do. But I'd still like to know how to recover from this situation, in case it happens again.
