CPU Count Wrong on Stats Page.

I have 5 computers running F@H. But consistently, the stats page shows only 3 CPUs active in the past week. Any ideas why this is? I have checked them periodically to see that the clients are indeed running. Two machines are going through one router (thus one IP), while 3 are going through another (different IP from the first group, but these 3 share an IP). I do not think they are being firewalled since they seem to send and receive work just fine.
It seems like my next step is to shut down all the clients and run only one for several days and track the Stats page. After a week, add another machine and see if the CPU count augments. Maybe as I introduce each machine, I can find the ones which are not being counted.
It seems that if the central server is messing up my CPU count, it might mess up my score as well. I find it very hard to believe that a guy with only 1 CPU running is outpacing me with 5 CPUs running 24/7.

Look thru your log files and see if your user name is exactly the same on all five CPU's
for example
User name: parkut (Team 4)
would not be the same as
User name: ParKut (Team 4)
I read somewhere usernames were case sensitive

It's also possible that you may have duplicate user id.

How would I go about checking this?
I have verified that the username is correctly typed on all machines. I checked the 'my stats' link from the client software and each points to the same page.

Welcome to the folding forums, apwhite.

Look in FAHlog.txt for the values listed in the preamble. Checking UserName and Team is a good start, but also check UserID and MachineID. In all cases, either UserID must be different or MachineID must be different (they're just added together to represent each unique client).

What work units are running on what type of clients?
I have 3 clients running on older Windows XP computers with the single core, non-GPU client. Sometimes I would get WUs from Project 1487 that would take 2 to 3 weeks to complete. When one started and got to day 8, my stats would show 1 less active CPU within the last 7 days, because the stats page only counts the CPU when you return a finished unit. When the workunit finished a week or two later, my CPU count would go back up again.
I'm now avoiding getting project 1487 work units because I reconfigured my clients to accept only the normal-sized work units, instead of the largest-sized one.
