Max out CPU Usage

Hello,

I am running F@H on a old computer at home, single core, 2.8Ghz P-4 and noticed that F@H is only using 50% processing power.

Is there a way to make it use 100%??

right now it is

FAHCore_78.exe 50%
System Idle Process 50%

I have the settings on F@H set to use as much CPU usage as possible, would there ever be a version that will allow us to max out the CPU usage? I honestly think it would be worth while!

thanks!

~Ram

Do you have hyperthreading enabled?

Two choices:

1. No Hyper-Threading and a single client (preferred) -- Just turn off Hyper Threading in the CMOS setup.
2. Yes, Hyper-Threading enabled, dual clients.

THREE choices.
3. Hyper-Threading enabled, a single client -- and ignore the 50% reading. In fact, this client is running at the same speed as choice 1 and your system is lying to you about having a second CPU. Both virtual CPUs have to fight with each other for a share of the single P4 that you really have, so choice 2 means you have two clients running at half speed, just so Windows can report that you're using 100% of both virtual CPUs.
