Newb Question - What client?

I'm sorry, I'm sure this has been covered, but I'm tired, its late, and a search couldn't find it.

I folded pretty seriously several years ago, but back then there was just one type of client. Now I'd like to get back into it.

What client should I be using with this system?

AMD Dual Core CPU (2.5Ghz)
ATI X1900XTX GPU

I installed the system tray client, but after reading around, I'm thinking I'm just using 1 core and not taking full advantage of my machine. It sits Idle for 12 hours or so a day, so I'd like to use all the horsepower I've got for Folding.

Thanks for any assistance.

I'm using 6.22 with -smp and deino with an AMD 64x2 5000, using the new R2 version, and getting the same number of points that I used to get with the older smp version, 5.91. So I'm getting around 700 PPD with a WU 2665, and around 1000 PPD with a WU 2653, with no problem completing units by the preferred deadline.

A little more detail is prudent here -

SMP client is Beta software which can be difficult to install, and you need to keep an eye on it. If you would prefer that F@H be invisible and maintenence-free, you can add a 2nd uniprocessor client (the Console version) to use your 2nd CPU core. See http://fahwiki.net/ or the FAQs at folding.stanford.edu for help setting it up.
