The "Big WU" bonus [hasn't changed]

What with the "normal" size of a work unit now being 10MB rather than 5MB, has the threshold for the Big WU bonus been increased? Or could we see some units which fit into the "normal" category of <10MB having the bonus as well because they are greater than 5MB?

I'm not sure they're still using a BigWU bonus, or if there is one, that it's all that significant. Most contemporary computers are not memory-constrained, even for big WUs, so the only real difference depends on whether you're on a broadband connection or dial-up. I don't think the setting even works for the advanced clients (GPU/SMP).

AFAIK, the threshold for BigWU Bonus has not changed (> 5MB). However, the default for the CPU client has changed in v6. So now all CPU clients will get "some" BigWUs with the default "normal" setting, which is >5 MB < 10 MB. If you don't want BigWUs, set it to small.
