Project 17956 on FAH! The project involves simulations of AtSTP10, a high-affinity monosaccharide transporter protein in plants that facilitates the uptake of glucose, galactose, and mannose into pollen tubes and root primordia. Studying the mechanism of active transport of glucose will help us design better high yield crops.
