Hello ,
have installed the folding software for arm64 on a small mini-pc
based on arm64 architecture;
have noticed that it begins to fold, but then stops at 1% mark;
there is no error present,
but there is sort of warning in yellow that is not easily legible
like
20:28:11:W :Unrecognized option 'gpu'
20:28:11:W :Unrecognized option 'power'
do i need the hardware get approved beforehand or is it simply not being considered for further processing?
thanks

Post some logs from the client.
And don't have high expectations for such low power things, if it's less powerful than a RPi 5, it won't make the deadlines and will be useless.

It is not stuck, it is probably too slow to fold and is just simply still trying to get through that 1st percentage
your log snippet is remnants of your move from v7 to v8, and has no bearing on your hardware not being able to fold fast enough

am simply wondering since had older smaller sbc folding and those wnt through,
it could be that something changed lately and the small sbc no longer being considered powerful? enough.
will seen if can find any logs, true , the sbc is already bit outdated, but still powerful (if compared to raspberry pi4 for example)
EDIt: oh, sorry, it went further, now it sits at 1,6%; just foalse alarm; please consider topic closed, thanks.

rPI were never considered powerful enough for FAH. If it barely makes the deadlines that is not powerful enough, that is just barely powerful

still powerful enough to get a proper software version, but yes, thanks again, the number went down from 36.000 to around 1.500; thought have a powerful player in the house; will find some other use for it
best of wishes.

Also check that it isn't going into a power saving mode and slowing down processing. Depending on the OS and version systems may do that unless disabled when no interactive usage is detected by the OS.

when i use desktop software glxinfo says "video accelerated = yes"
however now just using armbian version for iot/server. maybe it is missing some files, it should be processing faster, no doubt.
