(SOLVED) 8.5.5 shows "No folding machines found"

Trying to switch to a different team. Put in my username and team number and let it run. But after 24 hours, nothing showed up for that team. I know it ran some WU's and I watched them upload to the server. Since it wasn't giving me the credits I decided to uninstall and reinstall 8.5.5 again. Entered my user and team number and passkey. But now it doesn't show any machines found. I only run on the gpu (RTX 1650 super) which was working fine.

Running Linux Mint 22.1, Ryzen 5 5500, 64gb ram, firefox. Here iswhat it shows on the web control.

Look in web browser javascript console for errors.

Is the client actually running?
If you edited config.xml and made syntax errors, the client will immediately crash.

I can't know if the client is running since it doesn't show any kind of machine in the web app page. How would I go into the web browser to check javescript? If I knew how to post a screenshot I could show you what it shows.

There must be a task monitor of some sort. You can always open a terminal and use "ps aux | grep fah"

On macOS, I have Firefox menu Tools > Browser Tools > Browser Console

You have to use a third party image hosting service. Uploading images to this forum is not supported.

Please install the fah debug build and see what the log says.

Log will be

That is available on the Beta download page - https://foldingathome.org/beta/. They did a public beta release of v8.5.5, and that became the full release after a period of testing.

Uninstalled and installed the debug package. No change in what it shows and didn't generate a new log. Still have a few of the logs from before I tried to switch teams, but nothing new.
