Unable to reset passphrase – API NetworkError while recovering old account

Hello Folding@home team,
I’m trying to recover access to an older Folding@home account with the username “flakefrost.” The account is associated with my email address, but I no longer have the passphrase.
When I attempt to reset the passphrase using the official website (via “Forgot your passphrase?” on the login page), the request consistently fails with the following error:
API error: TypeError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource
I’ve already tried the usual troubleshooting steps:
• Multiple browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge)
• Private/incognito windows
• Different networks (including mobile hotspot)
• VPN and ad-blockers disabled
The error occurs every time, which makes it appear to be a backend/API issue rather than a local browser or network problem.
At this point, I’m unable to complete a self-service recovery and would appreciate help with resetting the passphrase or otherwise restoring access to the “flakefrost” account. If needed, I’m happy to verify ownership via email or provide any additional information.
Thank you for your time and for maintaining Folding@home.
